Thank you to all my clients for 8 years of generous business and referrals. I have been blessed to have shared so many treasured memories with so many people. However, I am sorry to say Kristy Roberts Photography is closing as a business. It has been a difficult decision but the one I feel God has guided me to make. With an undiagnosed health condition the business is too much stress so I must step down. I will still do some limited photography so, if you know me, or feel you “must” have me do some photography for you, don’t hesitate to contact me.
This was one of my awesome FUN sessions out at our beautiful state park. (Silver Lake Dunes) We headed out as soon as it opened and I had the pleasure of seeing all the beauty around us. This park is like a dessert with driftwood, dunes and our beautiful Lake Michigan. Daniel really wanted some captures of him catching air riding his bike but his bike exhaust broke. We made the best of it and still got some great images for him to remember this milestone in his life. Daniel plans on going to college and is in the National Honor Society at his school. I asked him if he was given 3 wishes what would they be? His response…”that my dirt bike would always work!” So sorry Daniel. It was a bummer for me too! Thank you for choosing me to capture these treasured photos!
What a beautiful day for a beach wedding! Joey and Ashley wanted a small ceremony at Little Sable Point Lighthouse and they were going to do it rain or shine. It was predicted heavy rain most of the day with a 95% chance during the ceremony time. I asked Ashley what the back-up plan was and her response was “We don’t have one” Yikes! I packed my rain gear and off I went. Well, everything was fine and the weather was great! They finished off with a reception dinner at the Open Hearth Grill restaurant in Hart. What a nice and relaxing day. No stress, no hurry no worry…just getting married nothing more and nothing less.
Had a senior session out at Little Sable Point this evening and it was so beautiful out. After I was finished I decided to stay and see what kind of evening sky God was going to bless us with tonight…I’m sure glad I stayed cause I if didn’t, I would have missed this beautiful Lake Michigan scene. It’s amazing to think that the same hands that created our world and this beautiful sky, cares about my every need!
Had a blast at this shoot. These boys come to Silver Lake Sand Dunes Area every year, so it wasn’t odd that they wanted their senior pictures done here. We started at Little Point Sable Light House, made a pit stop to ride in the dunes then ended at Charles Mears State Park in Pentwater. I live here and seldom get the experience of one of our biggest attractions – THE DUNES! It seems I was miles away from anything but really in my own back yard. We were blessed with blue skies, scattered white clouds and a cool breeze! It’s so beautiful out there. Simply amazing! Thank you Aaron and Mitchell Class of 2014 and thank you Margaret for trusting me with these most treasured photos
