Scheduling Your Session

To schedule your senior portrait session, contact me as soon as possible with a list of dates that would work for you. If possible, we should conduct your session before the school year starts, especially if you plan to participate in sports or other extracurricular activities that meet in the fall.

Get Plenty of Sleep

Get a good nights rest before your Senior Portrait Session. This will minimize problem areas such as dark circles under your eyes and help keep you upbeat and smiling throughout your session.

Eat a Light Meal

Eat a light meal before your Senior Portrait Session. It will generally take a couple of hours to complete your photo shoot, so it is a good idea to eat a light meal to avoid hunger and fatigue. However, make sure you keep it light - in other words, save the "all you can eat buffet" for another day.

Clothing

Make sure you bring several extra outfit changes. I'll admit your favorite shirt might be very cool, but trust me, you'll want a variety of photos to choose from. Bring clothes you feel comfortable wearing, bring clothes you are uncomfortable wearing, bring formal clothing, bring your prom dress and bring casual clothing. While I want you to be yourself, give me some creative options to help make you look your best. If your not sure what to wear read my senior portrait tips.

Props

Don't wanna look silly just standing there? Bring some props! Find a few items that express your personality or maybe items that just look really cool. A good prop can be anything - your favorite hat, a musical instrument, sports jerseys, sports equipment, shoes, collections, motorcycle, car, letter jacket, pets, even your friends. That's right, your best friends can make great props, so bring them along if you want to be remembered forever with your friends. However, don't forget it costs extra to have an Ex removed from your photos.
